I’m Rafa, a UX Designer from Rio de Janeiro. I turn complex ideas into simple, intuitive products that people genuinely enjoy using.
For the past 12+ years, I’ve been designing digital experiences that solve real problems through thoughtful, human-centred design. Today, at Smartify, I help shape digital experiences used by museums and cultural institutions around the world. My work spans product strategy, UX, design systems, AI-powered experiences, and close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring ambitious ideas to life.
I’m motivated by understanding people and the way they interact with the world around them. I enjoy observing behaviours, listening carefully, and turning those insights into experiences that feel natural, useful, and meaningful.
